Seasonal Moorings on Lake Memphremagog

Secure your spot on beautiful Lake Memphremagog with a seasonal mooring! The Newport Harbormaster offers a limited number of moorings for lease, tailored to accommodate various boat lengths and types. Mooring availability is determined on a first-come, first-serve basis and depends on the proper match of your boat with the correct mooring gear.

What You Need to Know:

• Cost: Seasonal moorings are available for $750 USD. Seasonal dinghy dock use is an additional $75 USD.
• Included Amenities: Mooring renters enjoy free sewage pump-outs, access to the marina’s private bathroom and shower, and free Wi-Fi. The marina’s Wi-Fi signal is strong and reaches a significant portion of the mooring field.
• Loading & Unloading: Mooring renters are welcome to tie up along the pier or fuel dock for short periods while loading or unloading supplies or passengers.
• Mooring Pendants & Hardware: Boaters must provide their own mooring pendant and any required hardware (e.g., shackles, swivels) to secure their boat to the mooring. All pendants must be approved by the Harbormaster before use.
• Transportation: The Newport City Dock marina does not provide a public dinghy. Mooring users are responsible for their own transportation to and from their mooring. A seasonal dinghy dock space is available for your personal dinghy.
• Requirements: Proof of valid liability insurance and boat registration must be provided by all mooring renters.

Additional Information:
Moorings are available to both U.S. and Canadian boaters, especially those from Quebec. If no moorings are available, your inquiry will automatically enroll you on the mooring waitlist.
