The City of Newport is now accepting applications for new seasonal mooring customers. Vacancies for seasonal accommodations are very limited and will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis with priority given to Newport City residents. To apply, boaters must submit completed seasonal application and non-refundable deposit to be considered. Visit us at Gardner Memorial Park Saturday, May 4 from 8:30AM-11:00AM to drop off the bags you've filled or to help clean up around the park. GLOW-IN-THE-DARK EGG HUNT

Guided by flashlight, over 1,000 glowing and non-glowing eggs are hidden around Prouty Beach park. From the upper pines to the waterfront, the Glow Hunt covers almost an acre of darkness. Some eggs contain candy and trinkets but twenty special eggs carry prize tickets for awesome glow-in-the-dark gear like lava lamps, frisbees, puzzles and star packs! Open to ages 9-12, advanced tickets $12 or $15 at the gate. Tickets on sale March 27th, 2019.
Community Bingo will be hosted on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Community Center, located on the ground floor of the Newport Municipal Building. Open to all ages from 1:00-3:00PM. Cards cost 50 cents each, with cash prizes. For more information, email Esther Searles or call (802)754-6642.

When the weather turns cold, the Newport Municipal Gym transforms to an indoor playground fit for the tiniest people in the Kingdom. Preschool Play World is a free, drop-in playgroup where babies, toddlers and caregivers can gather to socialize and explore in a fun environment.
