Field & Facility Reservations
Newport Parks & Recreation is responsible for the scheduling, use and management of the City's athletic fields and recreational facilities. Most parks and facilities are open for public use, except when a space is reserved for exclusive use. Requests can be made online, by mail or in person at our office.
- Reservation requests are considered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Athletic field priority will be given to returning seasonal sports leagues and existing programs if submitted by the annual April 1st deadline.
- You will be notified of the status of your reservation and issued an invoice with confirmed dates within seven business days. Requests are not approved until a reservation permit has been received from our office. Payment is due in full prior to use, permits are not issued until balance is paid.
- Changes or cancellations to field or facility reservations must be made 14 days prior to the reservation date to be eligible for a refund or credit. Last minute cancellations due to inclement weather or other uncontrollable circumstance may be credited toward a future reservation.
- Tenants are responsible for informing all guests, participants, caterers, entertainers and contractors of Facility Rules & Regulations. Failure to adhere to these rules by the tenant or their guests will result in additional costs for clean-up and suspension of future rentals.
