Field & Facility Reservations
Reserve Newport’s Parks & Facilities
Newport Parks & Recreation manages the city's athletic fields and recreational facilities. Most spaces are open to the public unless reserved for exclusive use.
How to Reserve
Reservations must be made online. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Returning seasonal sports leagues and existing programs receive priority for athletic fields if submitted by the April 1st deadline.
You’ll receive confirmation and an invoice within seven business days. Reservations are not approved until a permit is issued, and full payment is required before use.
Cleaning & Responsibility
Renters are expected to leave fields and facilities in the same clean condition in which they were found. If staff determines a space was not adequately cleaned, the city reserves the right to invoice the renter for cleanup costs.
Additionally, tenants must inform all guests, participants, and vendors of facility rules. Failure to follow regulations may result in additional fees and suspension of future rentals.
