Newport Parks & Recreation requires payment in full at time of registration for all camps and programs. As a service, payment plans can be arranged in advance to reserve a child's space and help defray cost during bulk enrollment periods like summer camp and longer school vacations. To break program fee into smaller installments, please request a payment plan at least three weeks in advance of your enrollment deadline. Submit the form below, including post-dated checks, in conjunction with your other summer registration forms. Sign-up is not complete until confirmation has been received from our office.
Youth Scholarship Fund
Through the generosity of community members, businesses and organizations, we are able to offer a financial assistance program that helps local children attend summer camp and school year programs. 100% of donations to our Youth Scholarship Fund go directly to Newport children and help provide recreational opportunities and engage local families in healthy, safe and active living. The program uses a sliding scale to consider a child's need based on household income, merit and willingness to give back to the community. Click here to make a donation.
TO APPLY: Full or partial scholarships are awarded to qualifying Newport residents in accordance with program availability and accessible funds. The information requested on the application is necessary to help determine the degree of need for each participant. Read directions carefully. The form must be completed in full, including supporting documentation by the deadline indicated on the program registration form. Applications that are incomplete, illegible or missing required documentation will not be considered. Unfortunately non-residents are not eligible for Newport Parks & Recreation scholarships at this time.
