GARDNER PARK RESTORATION PROJECT
Centrally located, Gardner Park is one of Newport City’s most heavily used recreation facilities. While the park is regularly enjoyed by many, the facility is challenged by aging infrastructure in need of restoration to meet safety standards and the contemporary needs of our community. 4th ANNUAL RYAN COULTER POND HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

Registration is now open for the Ryan Coulter Memorial Pond Hockey tournament in Gardner Memorial Park to benefit Gardner Park Ice Rink upgrades. The tournament is played in a 3v3 format with no goalies. Rosters can include up to 6 players, men or women. This is a double elimination tournament with a 3-game guarantee. Girls will always remember their first date, especially when it's with Dad. The Father Daughter Dance is a magical night for her filled with dancing, laughter and lifetime memories. Check your coat at the door and proceed to the dance floor where DJ Double Trouble will be mixing up fun dance songs like "The Funky Chicken," and sentimental ballads like "Butterfly Kisses" to touch Dad's heart. Admission includes fun party favors, delicious and fancy refreshments, craft activities and a professional photo opportunity for one father and one daughter. Community Bingo will be hosted on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Community Center, located on the ground floor of the Newport Municipal Building. Open to all ages from 12:30-3:00PM.
